All you need to do is to regularly polish your fountain pen with the Otto Hutt silver polishing and cleaning cloth. This special cloth removes the oxidation in a gentle and environmentally friendly way. Polishing with the Otto Hutt silver polishing and cleaning cloth will add a special tarnish protection to your pen, that will delay further surface oxidation. The cloth is part of every fountain pen set and can also be used for high-quaity metal surfaces like Gold or platinum. To clean coated pens, we suggest a microfiber cloth.
